Message But it does. There's only two reasons I can think of and regardless of which one, the end result is the same. Either the shops that align these cars don't know what they are doing or that much negative camber does cause more than a "bit" of uneven wear. I'm a PERFECT example of this. Remember, we're talking front tires here, not the rears. We already agree on the rears being more acceleration damage from smaller contact patch/grip than anything.

I had my both my 2+2 and TT aligned religiously thanks to all the driving miles I put on. In fact, I did it with every set of tires which was roughly every 5 months. With all other areas completely in spec, I'd still experience uneven tire wear with my front tires. The insides were always down to the wear strips well before the outsides. Quite a bit uneven in fact. I chose this setting over the course of 4 years on two different cars and I lived with it because I liked having more negative than spec. That changed with my TT as I don't road race it and I wanted a bit more life out of my tires. I put it back to -1.4 and it wears amazingly close to even. I'm getting far more life out of my tires because of it. So what accounted for that, then?

All I'm trying to say is that -2.5 isn't for the average Joe and it isn't what he wants. Camber in and of itself may not cause excessive wear, but it can cause uneven wear regardless of "why". He bought the 300degree kit to get it back to spec because he doesn't roadrace and doesn't need the camber that negative. He removed it later on and went exactly into the specs I had with the same setup. If he then puts the bracket back on, he should get more even wear, like I did, right?
